This book is a collection of short stories. A dark secret housed in Kamathipura. A drug cartel run by a completely unexpected entity. The secret behind how a struggling actor suddenly became an unparalleled superstar. Read this book to find out about this and more.

Uniqueness

Each story in this book is incredibly unique. Honestly, I don’t have any words for the uncommon ideas and storyline that the author has written in this book. The uniqueness in the storyline is what I loved the most about this book.

Predictability

The stories were somewhat predictable after the first few ones. Once I understood the theme, I was able to partially predict the outcome. By that, I mean, I could safely assume that none of the stories would have a happy ending. No matter how much I wanted, some of them to have. But that is what raised the appreciation of this book in my eyes. I prefer stories with a bittersweet ending. Those always attract my attention.

Writing Style

The writing style of the author is very crisp and simple. Most authors these days tend to pick words out of a dictionary and make the language complicated, thereby compromising readability. But in this book, the author kept the writing style crisp and straightforward. I was able to imagine each and every step the character took without extensive description.

Cost Worth

The eBook format costs Rs. 199, and the paperback edition costs Rs. 299. The book is easily worth the cost, for the entertainment it offers.

Entertaining

Each story is more entertaining than the last. By this logic, the most entertaining story should be the last one. The best thing about the last story is how seemingly unrelated tales come together. With a few words, the author has conveyed tons of emotions and information.

The Review
